Point the camera at a business card. CardWise reads the name, title, company, numbers, email and address and lays them out as editable fields. Online, an AI text-extraction pass gets the details right even on stylised cards; offline, on-device recognition takes over. Keep the photo, add where you met, and it’s saved.

Know who’s calling before you pick up.
When an unknown number rings, a small card appears over your call screen with the caller’s name. Names from a caller’s own CardWise account carry a verified tick; names shared by the community are shown plainly; numbers several people flagged are marked as spam. It never blocks or answers a call — it only tells you who’s there.

Send a link instead of “when are you free?”
Set the days and hours you’re available and your slot length, then put your booking link on your card or in a signature. Guests pick a day and time in your timezone, enter a name and email, and both of you get a confirmation. Booked slots leave the grid on their own. Connect Google or Microsoft Calendar to keep one diary.

A one-time code secures the account and sets your country for Caller ID.

Plain-language policies, real controls in the app, and a way for anyone to take their data back.
- We don’t sell your data.
- No ads, no data brokers. Each provider we use gets only what its one job needs.
- Your account is yours to lock.
- Two-factor sign-in, a verified phone number, and a block list.
- Caller ID has an off switch.
- Stop contributing any time, withdraw everything you shared, or remove your number without an account.
- Deletion is real.

Is CardWise free?+
Yes. Scanning, your digital card, sharing, bookings, chat and Caller ID are all free. Premium card designs from the marketplace are optional one-off purchases.
Which phones does it run on?+
Android 8 and newer today. Caller ID needs Android 10+. The iOS app is in progress.
Does it work offline?+
Yes. Your contacts are stored on the device and sync when you’re back online. Card scanning falls back to on-device text recognition without a connection.
How does Caller ID know who’s calling?+
Names come from two places: the caller’s own CardWise account (shown with a verified tick) or contacts that CardWise users have added to the app. Only a name and number are ever used. How it works
Can I stop my contacts being used for Caller ID?+
Yes — Settings › Caller ID › switch off. “Remove everything I shared” takes back what was already contributed. People without an account can remove their own number too. Remove my number
Can I bring contacts from another tool?+
Import from your phone’s contacts, CSV, JSON, Google Sheets, HubSpot or Pipedrive. Export any contact as a vCard.
Do guests need the app to book a meeting with me?+
No. Your booking link opens in any browser; they pick a slot and get an email confirmation. You’re notified in the app.
How do I delete my account?+
Email us from the address on your account; deletion completes within 30 days. Deletion steps
